    Owner and history

    The Second Wine of Château Cos d'Estournel is produced from young vines of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, petit verdot and cabernet franc which benefit from the same treatment as the 2nd Grand Cru Classé.

    Vinification and aging

    The wine from the Saint-Estèphe appellation is vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and aged for 12 months in oak barrels.
    This wine is aged in 30% new oak barrels. The wines are elegant and charming thanks to this aging process.
