With a forward-looking vision, he is dedicated to producing wines that tell the story of their terroir and their history.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Domaine Charles Van Canneyt is made according to Burgundian traditions. The grapes, harvested by hand, are carefully sorted before being destemmed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats, allowing for precise temperature control and gentle tannin extraction. Aging occurs in oak barrels, some of which are new, for 12 to 18 months. This process imparts increased complexity and subtle wood aromas to the wine. Bottling is done without filtration, thus preserving the wine's integrity.
