    Owner and history

    The La Garde cuvée comes from a plot located in Côte-Blonde, overlooked by a Roman-era watchtower (the first castle of Ampuis). These eighty-year-old vines, with their very low yields, are blended with the estate's most prestigious plots. Production of La Garde varies from 500 to 3,000 bottles and is only made in exceptional vintages.

    - Entirely manual grape harvest
    - Rigorous sorting in the vineyard, before putting into the vat
    - 80% destemming
    - Traditional winemaking with 4 weeks of maceration
    - Malolactic fermentation in barrels
    - Aged for 32 months in new oak barrels
