Domaine Jo Landron
A new philosophy
The story ofDomaine Jo Landronbegan in 1945 with the purchase of land within the appellationMuscadet Sèvre et Maineby Pierre and Julien Landron. At that time, they cleared the land and planted vines with the aim of developing their father's 3-hectare vineyard. From 1950 to 1975, the Landron family greatly expanded the estate by converting abandoned wasteland into vineyards. In 1987, a physiological incident (risk of vine poisoning from a herbicide) led to a change of heart within the estate. From then on, the use of herbicides was stopped, and tilling of the soil began.
