Located in Labarde, in the heart of the Margaux appellation, Château Giscours is an iconic Médoc estate, classified as a Third Growth in 1855. With centuries of history, this vast vineyard benefits from an exceptional terroir of Garonne gravel, which gives rise to refined and elegant wines. La Sirène de Giscours, the château's second wine, draws from this strong identity all the nobility of Margaux. Produced with the same exacting standards as the grand vin, this 2016 vintage offers a beautiful illustration of the Giscours style: balance, controlled power, and aromatic complexity.

Tasting notes
The 2016 La Sirène de Giscours reveals itself in a deep ruby robe with garnet highlights. The expressive nose blends ripe black fruits, woody notes, and a floral touch. On the palate, the structure is ample and silky, supported by smooth tannins and a lovely freshness. The aromas evolve with notes of blackberry, cedar, and blond tobacco. The finish is long, elegant, and delicately spicy.

The team's opinion
An elegant and generous vintage, which combines the aromatic finesse of Margaux with the depth of the great second wines of Giscours.
