Owner and history

The vineyard is located in northeastern Hungary, in a continental climate ideal for the development of noble rot. Botrytis only appears in the best vintages, and the berries are then selected one by one, by hand.

Vinification and aging

Tokaji is produced using a unique process. The harvest takes place in several passes during October, depending on the development of botrytis. The botrytized grapes form a paste called Aszú, which is then blended with a barrel of dry white wine. "3 puttonyos" refers to the number of baskets of botrytized grapes added to the wine, in this case, three. The wine is aged for two or three years before bottling.
