The Château Hosanna vineyard stretches across well-exposed slopes, on clay-gravel soils that promote excellent drainage. The vines' roots delve deep into this terroir, allowing for optimal nutrient absorption. The region's temperate oceanic climate, with hot summers and mild winters, contributes to the even ripening of the grapes, resulting in a unique aromatic complexity. Each year, the estate works with passion to preserve the integrity of its terroir, guaranteeing grapes of the highest quality.

Owner and history

Today, Château Hosanna is managed by a passionate team that perpetuates the estate's legacy of quality. The current owners, eager to showcase the authenticity of the Pomerol terroir, are committed to producing exceptional wines. Their vision is based on sustainable and environmentally conscious viticulture, while integrating modern winemaking techniques. Thanks to this approach, Château Hosanna continues to elevate its wines to the status of Bordeaux's must-haves, captivating enthusiasts and connoisseurs worldwide.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Hosanna is the result of a meticulous and respectful approach to the grapes. The harvest is done by hand, allowing for the selection of only the healthiest bunches. After gentle crushing, the grapes are placed in vats for controlled fermentation. Aging takes place in oak barrels, some of which are new, to impart a subtle touch of wood and spice to the wine. This aging process, which lasts approximately 18 months, allows the wine's structure and complexity to develop while preserving the expression of the terroir.
