The Château Beau-Séjour Bécot vineyard stretches across sunny slopes, benefiting from a temperate oceanic climate. The soil, composed of clay and limestone, gives the grapes a unique aromatic richness. The vines, averaging 30 years old, are cultivated with care, respecting the natural balance of the ecosystem. The planting density and controlled yields allow for optimal fruit quality, essential to the production of great wines.

    Owner and history

The estate is currently managed by the Bécot family, who have preserved the family heritage while modernizing winemaking practices. Their passion for wine and their deep connection to the terroir are reflected in every bottle. They are committed to producing high-quality, environmentally conscious wines, while continuing to promote the excellence of Saint-Émilion on the international stage.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Beau-Séjour Bécot is carried out with meticulous care. The hand-harvested grapes are rigorously sorted before being destemmed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for optimal temperature regulation. Aging, lasting 12 to 18 months, occurs in oak barrels, some of which are renewed annually. This process imparts complexity and structure to the wine, while respecting the expression of the terroir.
