Formed from the merging of vineyard plots belonging to different families, this estate has existed since 1858. It first belonged to Charles Arnoux, and then, after his death, to his son.Robert Arnoux, whose name the estate bore for nearly half a century. Finally, upon his death in 1995, the estate was bequeathed to his daughter Florence and her husband, Pascal Lachaux, who had already learned the trade from Robert for several years. Since then, they have spent almost all their time working hand in hand in the vineyards, striving to produce a wine they love and to share emotions and pleasure through it. Since 2011, their eldest son, Charles, has joined them, becoming deeply involved in all stages of thewinemaking processThe members of theLachaux familyThey carefully and respectfully preserve their heritage, aware of the invaluable treasure it represents.

The estate currently farms 14.5 hectares, on which it applies the principles of thebiodynamicsGreat care is taken in the vineyard work to develop healthy and balanced grapes. The soils are regularly plowed by a draft horse, the harvest is entirely manual, and rigorous sorting is carried out to retain only the best berries. The estate added a new winery in 2005, where the wine flows by gravity. The choices made by the Lachaux family are guided by therespect for the environmentas well as the perpetual quest forExcellency.
