Great Bordeaux wines from 2009, en primeur, negotiated by Cavissima!

Connoisseurs of fine Bordeaux wines have once again demonstrated their strong interest in the en primeur wine sales. The 2009 vintage, which promises to be exceptional, has found its audience. Cavissima had negotiated for its clients more than 25 references of fine Bordeaux wines.

The Cavissima team is very pleased because all allocations have been sold in the last few days! However, we are quite concerned because there are still customers to satisfy, and the limited quantities make finding new allocations difficult.

Therefore, we are focusing our efforts at the end of August on finding new references that are just as interesting as those we have been offering until now.

Buying wines en primeur is a very particular act. It involves purchasing wines that have not yet been bottled. This means the purchase is made while the wine is still being made. This method allows winemakers to secure a portion of their revenue and enables customers to acquire high-quality wines at reduced prices. Delivery, a process dear to Cavissima, is also different when buying such bottles. The delivery date is determined by the winemaker. For example, a Cavissima customer might place their order in July 2009 but only receive their delivery two years later. This time is necessary to finalize the wine's aging process, which is essential for developing its cellaring potential.
